The Census Count Chardonnay Okanagan Valley BC VQA
History: Naturalist Major Allan Brooks helped organize the first Christmas Day bird count in the Okanagan in 1905. This annual affair speaks to the early and existing appreciation of nature in the Okanagan Valley.
Tasting Notes: Our 2008 Chardonnay has luscious ripe pears and fresh apple notes providing a harmonious and long finish. Well-balanced and elegant, achieving impeccable balance between fruit and oak.
Food Pairing Notes:
A classic Okanagan Chardonnay, this wine is ideally served slightly chilled
with roasted chicken, creamy pasta sauces, or grilled vegetables.

- "The wine tastes of ripe pears, peaches and citrus, with an undertone of honey. Big and generous on the palate, the wine has a lingering finish.
